AMSTERDAM, NY, January 21, 2015 – GIANT Solutions (https://giantsolutions.com), one of the nation’s most trusted cellular network consulting and engineering firms, today announced that Eric Pankonin has been named SVP, Business Development to develop and lead their strategic growth initiatives, a new position to the company.
GIANT Solutions is led by Managing Partners Dave Putman and Scott Stockman who together founded the company 12 years ago after both working at Sprint. “Eric will be an instrumental addition to the GIANT leadership team,” said Putman. “With more than two decades of telecommunications sales, marketing, management, and strategy development experience, his leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in helping to broaden our strategic relationships and enhance our customers’ experience.”
Stockman adds, “We realize that in order to continue to provide the unparalleled service that our customers are accustomed to and that they deserve, GIANT Solutions needs to retain and further develop our team. To do that, we need to provide more opportunities for our employees to grow professionally. Growing our company will allow us to further develop those opportunities.”
Prior to this appointment, Pankonin was VP, Business Development at Integra Networks, a provider of fiber optic network components. During his 5 year tenure, Integra grew revenues six fold, securing key customers, building a highly effective sales organization, and leading expansions both domestically and internationally.

Before his leadership role at Integra, Pankonin held leadership positions at a number of telecommunications companies including Northeast Region Vice President for Time Warner Cable’s Business Class, Regional Carrier Sales Manager for Choice One Communications (now Earthlink), and Regional Sales Manager for AT&T’s premier global accounts.
